2nd time that my wife & I have are here & both times we had very good service. The food is good, the view of Lake Superior is wonderful, overall atmosphere is comfortable. I've never been to a restaurant establishment were the owner himself helps busts tables.
One of Duluth's premier local owned restaurants! They offer a great menu with charcoal grilled food sections. The service was really good, but does tend to get busy especially on the weekends and around the dinner hours! Overall very impressive!
Food was great, service was mostly great aside for a drink order mix-up, but that happens sometimes. The only reason this isn't getting a five is because Google had this listed at $$ and it really should have been listed at $$$ as their prices were much higher than my family and I expected upon seeing the $$ listed. But again, great food, great atmosphere, and for the most part great service. Would definitely recommend, just want people to be aware of the prices you'll find here.
Food was AMAZING! Got the stuffed mushrooms and I was scraping the plate cause I couldn't get enough! Had the pickwick jambalaya which is spicy! But good! My boyfriend had the Lake Superior white fish and loved it as well! Everything was good! Service was a little slow sometimes. Waited a while to get drinks and have our order taken. I am a server and I get waiting to take an order if someone got an appetizer, but we hadn't had our appetizer yet and it had been a bit of a wait. She was nice just could have checked up a little better! Other than that I'm sure she's a great server! But I would highly recommend the place!
You didn't even get a piece of pie for dessert.
Went to the Thanksgiving dinner, $23 per person. Turkey was dry and in one big chunk with skin on the bottom, some scraps of dark on the side, stuffing was heavy with sage, potatoes were plan, just mashed, and the green bean dish was under cooked. The only thing that was good was the bread and water. Bill came to $57 for two people.
Went home and ate. Pretty sad.
