They were helpful, and for the person saying "they made me run back and forth to get different things" the first time they sent you away didn't you think to ask what all you would need? Take some personal responsibility... That's just stupidity... The DMV in Minnesota is following protocols, they are doing what they're supposed to, complaining to them or about them, won't change the rules they have to follow as they didn't make them, doesn't anyone have a brain anymore? And the people are polite when you are polite, you can't go to a place (that everyone already hates and has bad expectations) and then think they're going to be angels to every person after getting yelled at and swore at for things that aren't even in their control...
Couldn't get my kid in to take his test in the Twin Cities area for 2 months. Went to Cambridge first - probably the worst DMV in the state. After seeing the reviews - we decided to go up to Duluth. They are probably the nicest, most patient DMV employees I've dealt with. It was actually a very good experience. Highly recommend driving up here if you can't get in anywhere else. Whoever gave the low reviews are nuts.
My experience was great. The people were helpful, in a good mood and conversational in a way that made the experience nice and fun and not sterile! I am glad SOMEONE in my search told me I was going to the Exam Station. I would have never found it otherwise. I beat the rush and it went fast. .
Minnesota is the worst state in america when it has anything to do with license or vehicles they will make you wait forever in line then you wait months to get everything in the mail north dakota made everything easy and you dont have to wait for anything to come in the mail with north dakota maybe mn should take some advice from north dakota so they dont have to torture Minnesotans anymore because heaven forbid they need a new license i almost wish i never moved to this stupid state just so i wouldnt have to deal with these people at the dmv
For the customers that the employees have to deal with every day they are very friendly. Also, everyone should know that many states require two forms of ID for most state programs. Come on you need a state ID and social security card and sometimes even a piece of mail with your name and address if it's different than your ID. All that just for example to get on welfare or even food stamps. Now if you need all of that for those programs why would you not need it for a DL?? I agree with the most recent poster. Take some responsibility and be an adult!! If you aren't mature enough to know what to ask or even if you try to find a way to ask what your end of the responsibility is then maybe you shouldn't have a license.
