Against my better judgement I had a rifle shipped here even though they have an outrageous transfer fee of 45$. They've had it for 2 days now without getting it into their system so I can go pick it up. Was told to call when it got there to go pick it up by an employee before I shipped the rifle, so I did that. Called the day of to see and they didn't get it ready and was told to call back to pick it up the next day. The following day comes and I Called in the morning and all I was told was "give us your number and we will call when it's ready". I've had rifles shipped to other stores before and never had I had to wait more than 1 day, and the only reason I had to was because gander mountain did not have the store manager in to sign off on it. Highly recommend finding somewhere else to bring your business
I overall like the place. Location is great. Selection and pricing on guns can be great. Fishing supplies are good. Service sucks. I agree with other folks, if they had friendly staff, this place would be awesome. I cringe every time I need to ask someone for help. But honestly, its a bait and gun shop folks, what more do you want?!
